This year during winter, I have completed one of my dream trekking trip in Ladakh for spotting the most elusive and mystic cats of the worlds – Snow Leopard. This is a special kind of wildlife trekking trip which needs lots of physical ( as well as mental) preparation that I have started doing from last year. Your body and mind should be in a good condition to sustain -20°C in or above 14000ft ( and of course your camera gear too 🙂 ). After spending lots of time tracking in the field we were blessed with the sightings of ghost of the mountains. One good thing was along with the almighty Snow Leopard, we were privileged to have the sightings of few of the worlds rarest wildlife species during the trip. Altogether it was a great experience, exposure and unforgettable memories to cherish forever. May be I will write a detailed blog post on this later but for now, here is the addition in my portfolio gallery called “PREY & PREDATOR OF SNOWY HIMALAYAS“.
