In-spite of being the world’s 2nd highest populated country, India is enriched with phenomenal natural heritage and boasts a rich diversity of flora and fauna. Approximate 423 species of Mammals can be found here which is about 7.81% of the global mammalian species and out of which 89 species have been listed as threatened by ICUN (International Union for Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources). Many of them are critically endangered and have not yet been properly photographed in wild. India is one of the extremely bio-diverse countries in the world having 3 major biodiversity hotspots : the Western Ghats, Eastern Himalaya and Indo-Burma region. Due to the diverse landscapes throughout the country, India is blessed with various weather conditions which accomplished a wealthy collection of wildlife throughout the country.
